Course Fee

What it includes:

The course fee includes all tuition fees, course materials and tutorials for the duration of the course.See individual course details for more information about specific course fees.

Other additional course costs (dependant on thelevel of course) such as textbooks, placement supervision, BACP Student Membership, indemnity insurance, security checks are to be met by the student

If extended support is required after the duration of a course, then additional fees maybe charged. This will depend on the nature and length of time of the support required by the student. 

Deposit:

Your place on one of our courses can only be secured by payment of a deposit and once you have been officially offered a place by the course tutor.

The deposit payment (plus a CPCAB registration fee that is applicable for L4 Diploma only) is to be made within 7 days of receiving an offer of a place. After this time, your place may be withdrawn and offered to another student.

How to pay:

Fees and deposits are to be paid via BACS / bank transfer only. We do not take cash or cheques.

Fees can be paid in full prior to the commencement of the course or the remainder of the fee paid (after the deposit) on the first day of the course.

Payment Plan – a payment plan of 3 monthly instalments can be arranged to pay the remainder of the fee (after the deposit).

These payments are due:

  1. First day of the course
  2. Specified date – Oct/April – dependant on course start date (see payment plan)
  3. Specified date – Nov/April- dependant on course start date (see payment plan)

Payment confirmation:

Confirmation of your payments will be emailed to you by the Westmeria Admin Team. Please retain copies of these for your records.

The Westmeria Admin Team are responsible for managing payments from students. If you have any queries, then please contact them via email or telephone. Tutors are not involved in the management of the course finances.

Failure to Pay:

Paying course fees and paying them on time forms part of the College Course Agreement you sign and the financial terms you agree to set out in this policy when you start your course.

Failure to pay course fees or to pay them on time will mean that you are in breach of this agreement and may mean that you will be asked to leave the course.

If you are having difficulties with your course payments, please contact the Westmeria Admin Team as soon as possible so that we can support you in the best way possible.

Cancellations & Refunds

Prior to the start of the course:

There is a 14-day cooling off period from the date of Westmeria receiving your deposit and confirming receipt of this. If you choose to cancel your place within this time, your deposit and any monies received from you up to this point, will be refunded in full, within 10 working days, and no further payment will be required.

Deposits are non-refundable after the 14-day cooling off period – no deposit refunds will be made after this time, and you will be liable for the course fee in full

Once the course has commenced:

No refunds will be given to students who have paid fees in part or in full once the course has commenced. Students are liable for the course fee in full regardless of whether they are attending or not.

Duplicate documentation

There will be £5 administration fee for any duplicate payment plan and duplicate proof / confirmation of payments. 

Issue of Certificates

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and course fee payment in full.

Zero Tolerance

Please be mindful that we operate a Zero Tolerance Policy. We will not accept any incidents of aggression or abuse to any member of our Westmeria team, whether face to face or in the form of other communications with us.

We reserve the right to withdraw our services from anyone who persists in such behaviour.
